Love's Triumph
Love’s Triumph is the story of one woman’s healing journey through the abyss of alcoholism. Born into an upper-middle class family, blessed with intelligence and everything else that would guarantee success, Patricia (‘Patsy’) Kentz’s life looked idyllic on the surface. Underneath the surface, though, she struggled with no sense of herself or her worth and a dogged, almost ruthless, determination to prove otherwise. Achieving academic honors through high school, in the pre-med program at university and then again in dental school did not diminish her pain. Only alcohol did. And it did for almost forty years – until finally, love penetrated her defiant shell and triumphed in her life. Love’s Triumph is a celebration of the healing power of love – and one woman’s decision to accept it.
